Half term is fast approaching & with Halloween following closely behind we have prepared some activities to keep the family occupied this October!

Here are 5 things you can do over the half-term break in Gloucestershire:

1. Berkeley Castle’s Spooktacular Halloween

With lots of different events happening at Berkeley Castle, guests can enjoy an audience with Henry VIII and his two headless wives or take part in the castle’s gruesome gameshow and enjoy some child-friendly spooky storytime. See What’s On

2. Pumpkin Picking

Great for the kids and adults, pumpkin patches are a great way to begin getting into the Halloween spirit. You can also support local businesses by visiting your local farm with a patch. Here are three farms local to Gloucestershire: Primrose Vale, Over Farm and Cattle Country Park Farm.

3. Gloucester Prison Ghost Hunt

Do you have the nerves during an overnight stay at one of Gloucester’s most haunted buildings. Take part in seances, vigils and experiments to try and contact those spirits still there.

4. Frightmare

Dare you book tickets to Frightmare at Over Farm Market

Rob Keene, the owner of Over Farm back then, had spent a lot of time in the USA, and understanding the passion in the States for Halloween decided to bring a proper Halloween experience back to the UK. Book Tickets
